M.A.T.C.H. in Action

The following video shows two examples of a teacher matching a spelling assignment to each child’s motor abilities.

This video highlights the M, A and C components of M.A.T.C.H. The teacher modified the task and also changed the children’s environment by using both stamps and letter tiles to spell, instead of print. The teacher also recognized that the ultimate goal of the task was for these students to spell correctly and that there were multiple ways for this goal to be reached.
